Altar Rosary Society

Who We Are
The Altar Rosary Society is a spiritual and service-based ministry dedicated to honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary. As one of the longest-standing traditions in our Catholic community, we combine our devotion to the Rosary with a practical commitment to the beauty and sanctity of our worship space. We are a community of faith-filled individuals who support one another in our spiritual journeys while serving the needs of the parish.
What We Do
Our mission is twofold: spiritual devotion and stewardship of the sanctuary. Our activities include:
Sanctuary Care: Maintaining and laundering altar linens, caring for vestments, and ensuring the altar is beautifully prepared for Mass and special liturgical seasons.
Spiritual Devotion: Promoting the recitation of the Rosary and hosting monthly "Corporate Communion" Masses for the intentions of our members.
Parish Service: Hosting funeral luncheons, supporting sacramental receptions (First Communion and Confirmation), and coordinating the annual May Crowning.
Fundraising: Organizing events like bake sales, basket raffles, and other events to provide for liturgical supplies such as candles, incense, and altar bread.
Who Can Join
Membership is open to all women and men of the Holy Trinity and St. Stephen parishes who have a desire to honor our Blessed Mother and serve the Church. Whether you are a longtime parishioner or new to our community, we welcome your unique talents and your presence.
Holy Trinity Altar Rosary Society
The Holy Trinity Altar Rosary Society serves our parish and wider community through a variety of prayerful, hands‑on, and fellowship‑centered projects. Throughout the year, our members help coordinate and support:
- Host Trivia Night, one of our parish’s most beloved community events .
- Arrange Easter flowers, bringing beauty and reverence to our worship spaces.
- Care for the Alter, ensuring our sanctuary is prepared with dignity and devotion.
- Create Family Fun Festival baskets for our annual parish celebration.
- Maintain flower pots for deceased priestsat St. Mary’s Cemetery, honoring their lives and ministry.
These projects reflect our mission of service, hospitality, and prayerful stewardship.
We gather hree times in the spring and three times in the fall, offering a gentle, seasonal rhythm that fits easily into busy lives.
Each meeting begins with praying the Rosary in Chapel Mary, followed by coffee, dessert, and a short meeting where we plan upcoming projects and enjoy one another’s company.
We warmly welcome new members at any time of the year—both men and women who feel called to serve, pray, and build community. Whether you’re looking to volunteer occasionally or become more involved, there is a place for you here.
