St. Stephen Parish Music Ministry
At the heart of our parish community, music is more than melody—it is prayer, presence, and praise. Our Music Ministry exists to lift voices and hearts in worship, drawing us closer to God and to one another. Whether through the solemn beauty of chant, the joyful harmony of choir, or the quiet strength of instrumental accompaniment, music helps us encounter the sacred in every liturgy.
We believe that every voice matters. Through song, we foster deeper prayer, invite full participation, and celebrate the diverse gifts of our parish family. Music becomes a bridge—between generations, cultures, and experiences—uniting us in one spirit of worship.
As Psalm 96:1 proclaims: “Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.”
ALL ARE WELCOME to join St. Stephen’s musical family. Experience the warmth and friendship of our fellow music ministers and add to beauty and meaning of our liturgies through music. We pray that the notes and words on the page become the song within our hearts to worship God. Additional members are needed for each of the groups listed below, so please consider joining us. No experience is necessary - just a desire to “Make a joyful noise to the Lord!”
